Summary

Born in a musical family and took in interest in instrumental music-Sitar, being initially trained by Late Shri. Manilal Pal and Durgadas Karmakar. I am fortunate to be the direct disciple of Sitar Maestro Kushal Das torch bearer of Senia Maihar Gharana. I am enjoying the musical journey of 21 years by now and still learning from Pandit Partha Chatterjee.

Guru Pandit Partha Chatterjee :- Learning from the greatest guru and Sitar Maestro and continuing the talim by the grace of God and other Gurus. Sitar Maestro Pandit Kushal Das (10 years):- Talim in Senia Maihar Gharana and the direct disciple of the Sitar Maestro Sri Durga Das Karmakar (1years):- Talim in lmdadkhani Ghararna from Sri Durga Das Karmakar. Late Sri Mani Lal Pal (9years):- Started the musical journey in lmdadkhani Gharana from Late Sri Mani Lal Pai, direct disciple of Ustad lmrat Khan.

Performed concerts with Pt. Parimal Chakrabarty (Tabla), Pt. Arup Chatterjee (Tabla), Pt. Ashoke Maitra(Tabla), Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya(Santoor), Pt. Tussar Dutta(Vocal), Pt. Biplab Bhattacharya(Tabla), Shri Soumen Nandy(Tabla), Shri Soumen Sarkar(Tabla), Shri Indranil Bhadury(Tabla), Shri Indranil Mallick (Tabla), Shri Hindole Majumdar (Tabla) and many others.
